I’m Emma – a creator and writer who aims to live intentionally, creatively and passionately.

Welcome to Pen & Stone. I created this blog as a home for my creative energy and source of inspiration for all its visitors. I believe in following your passions, no matter where, when or how they present themselves, which is why I created this blog.

I started my first blog back when I was ten years old and cycled through a few different website names before retiring my blog in college. Despite the evolving landscape of online content creation, I still found myself drawn to reading good ol’ blogs as my source of inspiration.

So, here I am. A new name, a new home and a new outlook. I am so excited to share my lifestyle with you. Here’s a quick summary of my life as it is in this current moment:

+ I’m married to my high school sweetheart (and big time crush), Jake

+ I’m a road trip junkie and will find any excuse to jump in the car and explore somewhere new (even if the it’s the next town over)

+ I’m a lover of vintage items and will always take a loved, worn piece over a shiny, new one

+ I’m currently taking more time to focus on enjoying the little things in life – from mornings spent in bed with homemade lattes to long walks on woody trails to dinners cooked in our tiny kitchen
